does anybody know how much these things cost,really dont want to be done over at the garage.

My car is having problems starting. When I get it towed to a mechanic, it mysteriously starts! This has happened 3 times already. I am fed up. I have heard that it may be my starter, battery, or fuel pump. But what ever they fix is not guarenteed. I don’t mind spending the money (about 500 for a fuel pump) but if it isn’t guarenteed, I don’t want to waste the money. Any suggestions?

I have spoken with a number of people about the new pumping system used by mechanics for pumping oil into cars.
For instance, if you are getting an oil change, the mechanic will simply pump the oil back into your engine. No bottles of oil seen poured into the engine.

There are many who claim that they have had bad experiences with this new technique.

For example: Some say the car runs perfectly fine. The oil is changed and then begins to leak. Rear Main Seals, Gaskets, etc…

How about you? Can you tell a difference?
